Overview

Most insurance companies require claims to include the correct date of birth of the patient and insured party. If you receive this error, confirm that the insured date of birth and the patient's birthdate are entered correctly in Therabill. Always use the format MM/DD/YYYY with a four-digit year.

Edit the patient's birthdate

Edit the patient's birthdate from the error page by clicking the edit icon next to the client name. The edit client form will open up. On the edit client form, enter/edit the birthdate and then save the client.

Edit the insured's date of birth 

You can edit the insured's date of birth from the edit insurance card form. There are a couple of ways to get to the edit insurance card form.

1. From the Error Page, click the Edit icon next to the insurance card.
2. From the Edit Client Form. Click the Edit icon for the insurance card you'd wish to edit.
