Patient Date Of Birth Required

More and more insurance companies are requiring that you send out the claim with the correct patient / insured's date of birth.  When you receive this error, make sure  you have entered the patient birthdate correctly in Therabill.  Even if the error only says that the patients date of birth is required, it is recommended that you also check to make sure the insured's date of birth is entered correctly.   When entering a date in to Therabill, always use the format MM/DD/YYYY (that is the 4 digit year).

Editing the patients birthdate

You can edit the birthdate of the patient from the error page by clicking the edit icon next to the client name.  The edit client form will open up.  On the edit client form, enter / edit the birthdate and then save the client.

Editing the insured's date of birth 

You can edit the insured's date of birth from the edit insurance card form.  There are a couple of ways to get to the edit insurance card form.

1. From the error page, you can click the edit icon next to the insurance card.
2. From the edit client form.  On the right of the edit client form, you will see that clients insurance cards listed.  Each insurance card will have an edit icon associated with it.
