The payer is requesting that you supply the date the patient was admitted in to the hospital. This is an uncommon error because Therabill, in general, is an outpatient based billing system. However, it appears that, even though this is an outpatient claim, the payer is requesting the date of admission. If the patient was not hospitalized, you may want to call to verify with the payer what date they are looking for.
Where to enter the Date of Admission in Therabill
The date of admission to the hospital can be found on the Advanced section of the add / edit client form in Therabill. To get to the edit client form, if you are at the error page, then simply click the edit icon next to the clients name listed on the error page. Alternatively, you can get to the edit client form through your client list (click Clients in the top navigation bar of Therabill) and then click the edit icon associated with the client in your client list.
At the top of the edit client form, click the Advanced tab. On the right of the advanced page, you will see a section labeled Dates. One of the dates is the Hospitalized date range. The admission date would be the first date in that date range. The Discharge date would be the second date in that date range.
Once you have entered the date, remember to click the Save button at the bottom of the edit client form. You can then go back to the error page in Therabill and click the Resubmit Electronically button at the top of the page.
