This error message comes from the Office Ally clearinghouse when they do not have your EDI enrollment approval on file for the billing NPI that you are submitting with.
The payer you are submitting to requires EDI enrollment. Part of the EDI enrollment process is telling the payer which clearinghouse you will be submitting through. In this case, the clearinghouse is Office Ally. After the payer tells you that they have processed your EDI enrollment, you must let Therabill know of the approval.
What to do
- If you have already done EDI enrollment then e-mail edi@therabill.com and let Therabill know the payer name and NPI that was approved. Therabill's EDI team will phone the approval in to Office Ally for you.
- If you have NOT already done EDI enrollement then e-mail edi@therabill.com and ask for the EDI Enrollment forms for this payer.
