Password Security Update

Therabill enforces strict password requirements to help keep your account safe from data breaches or cyberattacks that could put your patient data at risk. It is important when creating or updating a password that you follow the set of security requirements to ensure each password is unique and complex.

Password Requirements

Passwords must adhere to the following security requirements:

• Previous passwords cannot be reused
• Must be between 12 and 64 characters
• Must contain:
  • at least one lowercase letter (a-z)
  • at least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
  • at least one number (0-9)
  • a special character (!@#$%^&=?_.:;\-)
• Passwords must match

When creating or updating a password, each password requirement will appear with a checkmark in green if it has met that rule.

You will receive an error message if you attempt to save a password without meeting all the rules or if you try to reuse a previous password.

🔐 Password Expired

To keep your Therabill account secure, all users are required to update their passwords every 90 days. After the 90 days, Therabill will prompt you to create a new password before logging in again. 

Account Lockout

After 10 unsuccessful login attempts, your account will be locked, and you will be required to use the Forgot Your Password? link to regain access to your account. The following error will also appear.
