⚠️The Client Form feature update is currently in Limited Release to a select group of Members and will be gradually rolled out in the future. This article reflects the new updates to come.
Overview
You may come across a time when you need to create a new client in Therabill, where the new client's information is almost identical to another client that you have already entered into Therabill. For example, you are seeing a patient for two different disciplines, such as Speech and Physical Therapy. For scenarios like this, Therabill has a Copy Client feature that can help you perform this process quickly.
How to Copy a Client
- Go to Clients > Client List.
- At the top left of the Add New Client form, click Copy From.
- In the Search Client box, type the name of the client you want to copy from.
- Select the Client, then click Copy.
- The Add Client Form will now populate with the information from the copied client. You will need to add an Identifier, a code to distinguish between the two clients.
- Once you have updated any other necessary fields and Case details, click Save & Close.
- A warning dialog box will appear; click Save Client to continue.
📌Identifiers
Therabill does not allow you to add two clients with the same first and last name without using an identifier to set them apart. The identifier is a 1 to 4-character code to distinguish between the two clients in a client list. For example, if you were creating two entries for a client to create a Speech and Physical Therapy medical record, then you might use the identifiers SLP and PT, respectively. However, the codes that you come up with as identifiers are completely up to you.
