If you have a client/patient and you want to send the demographic information to another Therabill member then you may want to use Therabill's send patient tool.
NOTE: The original medical record belongs to the clinic that originated the client. This send patient tool simply sends the patient demographic information to another Therabill account allowing the receiving Therabill member to easily add the client to their client list. This is not transferring of therapy sessions or documentation (which belong to the clinic that created them).
Sending Patient
You can send the patient by logging in to the senders Therabill account. In the top navigation bar, click Clients and find the client in the client list. Once you have located the client, click the edit icon to open up the client record. At the top left of the client record, click the send icon . A form will open up. Type in the Therabill username of the receiving Therabill member and then click the Go button. Therabill will now search for that Therabill member. If it finds a member, it will display information about the member. It will ask you if you are sure you want to send. Click Yes to send the information.
Receiving Patient
If you receive a patient from another Therabill member, then you will receive an automatic item in your To Do list on your dashboard labeled Received New Patient Information. Click the view icon to view the patients you have received. You will now see a list of patient information you have received. Each entry will have an add icon . When you click the add icon, Therabill will open up the add client form with the information filled in for you. IMPORTANT: The client/patient is not added until you click the Save Client button.
What if I change information about the client in the sender or receiver account?
The send patient information feature simply sends a snapshot of the patient information at the time of the send. The patients across the two accounts are not linked in any way. After sending a patient, changes to the patient information in either the sender account does not change information about the patient on the receiver side. Changing in patient information on the receiver side does not change the patient information on the sender side.
