If you have not finalized your session, then you can delete any notes that you entered on the session using the custom documentation feature of Therabill. Unfortunately, if you have already finalized the session (your therapist signed the session), then the note must remain a permanent part of the medical record and cannot be deleted.
How to Delete a Note (Documentation)
You delete the note from the documentation tab of the edit session form.
- Open up the edit session form that the note was applied to.
- Click the Documentation tab at the top of the edit session form.
- At the top of left of the documentation page, use the drop down menu to choose the note template that was used to enter the note.
- At the top right of the note, you will see a little delete icon
. Click that icon to delete that note.
What if there is no Documentation tab at the top of the edit session form?
If the documentation tab is missing and has been replaced with an Addendums tab, then that session has been finalized (signed). If this is the case, then you cannot delete notes associated with that session. Any note that is associated with a session that has been signed must remain a permanent part of the medical record.
