Why are we changing vendors?
- When Therabill was acquired, the application included integrations for both Novera Worldpay and Club Automation. As WebPT grows, we are mindful of our solutions to ensure we can scale and implement them across all our products.
What are the dates I need to know?
- September - When we are expecting existing Novera/CA companies that transition to World Pay will get activated.
- Early October - Will be available to all
- Late October - Club Automation and Novera in-app removal
- The in-app functionality will stop working come late October if the member has not switched to Worldpay.
When will I be contacted by Worldpay?
- A representative will be reaching out to you in the next few weeks.
- No need to reach out directly as we have provided your details to them.
Do I have to change?
- Members do not have to terminate their agreements with Novera or Club Automation. However, if they want to maintain the ability to process card transactions within Therabill, they will need to sign up with Worldpay.
How do I process cards once my merchant is removed?
- With your current merchant, we advise reaching out to learn more about their internal portals to understand how cards can be charged.
What happens to our Saved Cards or Cards on File when we switch?
- All saved cards will be lost once the integrations have been removed.
- If continuing with Novera and Club Automation, you will need to review your merchant portal to see how to re-save your client's cards.
- If signing with Worldpay, all cards will need to be saved again.
Refunds or Reversals
- Once your current integration is turned off/removed, you will lose the ability to refund or reverse previous transactions.
- We recommend using another in-house method for these refunds.
Client Portal
- The portal will continue to be available for clients to submit their payments. If continuing with Novera or Club Automation, this will be active until late October.
- If moving to Worldpay, this feature will continue to allow client payments.
Device Update
- With the change to Worldpay comes a new device that allows contactless payments. This includes tap, Apple Pay, and like payment types.
- These are not connected to a certain computer but to your clinic’s network so all computers can process payments through one device within a clinic.
